I never got started posting on here because of health complications early this year, but I thought it would be a good End of Year Resolution to begin posting more frequently on Dreamwidth!
I guess this will just be a little random update. I haven't been able to do a lot since my chronic illness onset, but I've been trying to test out new routines & healthy lifestyle changes.
Cooking is one of them-I always liked cooking, but I've been learning more about nutrition & healthy meal planning, which has been very rewarding! I didn't think it was possible for me to grow to love food even more βΊοΈ
A recent staple of mine is red curry with chicken and vegetables in a coconut milk base. The next challenge is to make green curry from scratch! (coriander/lemongrass/keffir lime & green chili base, yum.) anyways..
Some other little things I'm proud of accomplishing as of late:
- cleaned my room & took out my winter clothes
- borrowed from my local library for the first time
- bought some houseplants and actually managed not to kill any of them! (unlike my cactus from college, rip Charlie)
- started taking care of myself better & regularly eating little treatsπ
my next goal is to fix my awful sleep schedule that I've been wrestling with due to my medication, but that's for next week's me.

RIP Charlie the cactus, oh man. May these new plants thrive in his memory, lol. And good luck with your sleep schedule, those can be super stubborn but getting on track always makes a huge difference to how I feel psychologically.
